The Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog Club® (ABBC) is the only all-inclusive, all-registry club for the Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog breed. It is a registered organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and bettering the Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog. Our officers and members come from different recognized and established registries like the American Canine Association (ACA), American Rare Breed Association (ARBA), American Research Foundation (ARF), Alapaha Blue-Blood Association (ABBA), the International Alapaha Blue Blood Registry (IABBR) among many others in the US and abroad. We are the only club for the Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog in existence today that embrace such diversity in bloodlines and registrations.

 

With the epidemic of turmoil and disunity widespread in the breed, the Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog Club® provides an unprecedented opportunity to all breeders and fanciers alike to set aside their differences for the good of the breed as a whole. It also  presents a remarkable and extraordinary venue for Alapaha owners and fanciers from different registries to show and compete their dogs exclusively against other Alapahas, both in the showring and in the bitefied. As a club we will be hosting shows and events, here in the US and abroad, that will be available to all Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldogs regardless of registry. Our professional trainers, with years of experience with Alapahas and other breeds, have also worked hard to design a platform for owners and fanciers to train, prove and showcase the endless versatility and capabilities of the breed. 

 

Developed in the South from crosses of the now very rare White English Bulldogs, Catahoula, Pitbull, and possibly some of the cur breeds, the Alapaha Blue-Blue Bulldog has grown widespread all over the world. Its unique traits and features make the Alapaha the #1 dog breed for many. It is being bred today for companionship, protection, for guarding livestock and the homestead, catching hogs and, herding or controlling wild and unruly cattle. It is a working breed that is intelligent, dutiful and regal, an all around utility dog suitable for families. They are highly trainable, devoted, loyal and protective, as well as very attentive and gentle dogs, especially with children. Owners and fanciers would testify that the Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog is a breed unlike any other, and would not own another breed.

 

Indeed, the Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog's survival depends on the stringent breeding ethics and practices of its breeders. The Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog Club®, have worked to set a guideline (see COE) for breeders to adhere to in breeding ethics and practices, as well as customer relations. We hope that breeders of Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldogs abide by our Code of Ethics for the betterment of the breed and the satisfaction and protection of every purchaser or owner of Alapahas. It is our aim that every breeder will produce top quality Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog puppies and every puppy be placed in forever responsible and loving homes.
